Held at the University of Adelaide's North Terrace Campus, Saturday Maths Problem Solving is an opportunity for students in years 7 to 11 who are interested in developing their problem-solving skills in mathematics beyond the school curriculum. Problem solving opportunity in Mathematics - for students who are keen to develop skills and knowledge beyond the school curriculum.
The sessions assist students of like interests and abilities to:
- Find friendship, inspiration and encouragement while working on, thinking about and solving non-standard (sometimes complex problems)
- Build up a tool chest of strategies which will enable them to solve problems they have never seen before.
- Become flexible and creative in their approach to solving problems.All students are required to bring paper, pen and a calculator. Morning tea will be provided.The sessions are run by fully qualified educators.
