The Aims of the Association and the Benefits of Joining
Membership is tax deductible.
The amount payable for Association Membership (excluding Reciprocal & Student Members) will include ONE Australian Association of Mathematics Teachers (AAMT) journal of your choice. The Journals to choose from are:
Australian Mathematics Teacher (AMT) - Year levels 6-10
Australian Senior Mathematics Journal (ASMJ) - Years 10-12
Australian Primary Mathematics Classroom (APMC) - Years K-6
Additional copies of the journals can be purchased when joining and one copy of each of the Revision Guides can also be obtained at special membership prices.
Student membership is free and includes membership of the email list and a concession to the Annual Conference registration fee.
Institution and Individual Members of MASA are automatically affiliated with AAMT.
Completing and confirming the Membership Form will automatically generate a Tax invoice that will be sent to your email address. Membership will not become active until the invoice has been paid. Payments can be made by credit card, cheque, electronic funds transfer or by direct debit from a Credit Union SA account. Details appear on the invoice. For most Institutional Memberships, the TAX invoice should be enough to allow payment.
It is also possible to pay online with Visa or Mastercard (no credit card details are stored by MASA or by the payment gateway, Stripe). Online payments will activate your membership immediately.
All membership fees include GST at 10%.
Current MASA Members wishing to renew their membership or update their profile should log in to this site with their email address and password (click Forgot Password if you have forgotten your password or do not know it). New members, please complete the online form below.
Institutional membership renewals that require more than the automatically generated Tax invoice may find it necessary to contact the MASA Office.
